OH and I have now decided Dorking is our area of choice so will hopefuly be moving there next year. He isn't far from there at the moment but I will be growing up and moving out and will have to sadly move Drum from where he is now.

So I knew you would be the people to come to with yard names, views etc... I have been to see one yard that I really liked but want to keep the search going and have a good nose around.

Idealy I am looking for somewhere that will offer part livery. Drum is the dude in my pics and he is 16.1 and very friendly and sociable so would like to have group turnout. I don't have my own horse transport so would really like somewhere where transport is available or there are other people who like going out and about and doing things.

Thank you

the yard I am at is about a mile from Dorking, up on ranmore hill. I'm very happy there - grass/part/full livery, turn out in pairs and YO does offer transport to shows in lorry on a regular basis. PM me if you would like more details!

I used to live in Dorking.. really lovely area. I kept my horse at a yard in Headley though.. about a 10min drive from where I lived. Lovely yard & people.

I understand it's a good bit bigger now than when I was there but it still seems to have a good reputation.

Tumber Livery

Fantastic hacking on Headley Heath, Epson Downs etc and plenty going on locally. Ranmore common is fab too - gorgeous yard we used to hack past / had a friend at by Denbies Wine estate there..
