Hi,

Can anyone recommend a livery yard in or near to Chelmsford?

Would need to be either DIY with services or grass livery/retirement.

Thanks!

Hi, I was at a place called Mashbury hall in Chelmsford. It is DIY with services and has outdoor school, jumps, own hay/straw 10,000 acres hacking! people were lovely and you get 2 acres paddocks to share with one another horse, or your own 2 horses.

There is quite a few of ads inc one for ^^^^ that place (think it says call Simon) in the back of Essex rider. Good luck :D

Maybe, i'm not too sure yet, we are looking over the Broomfield way of Chelmsford which might be too far but nothings set in stone yet.

Whats your place like?

There is a yard down Broomfield rd! I went to look at it, but they also have a lorry place there and it put me off but you may like it, I know they have big stables with own tack room (which i loved the idea of) winter turnout, horse walker, outdoor school services etc. That is also in the Essex rider :)

Here's a link to the website for our yard... it's a producers yard but it isn't just for people who show, she does ordinary livery too. Might be worth giving her a call to chat about your requirements if you decide it isn't too far, she's quite flexible to suit your horses as much as she can. I'm so happy there, nicest yard I've ever been on.

I lived in Broomfield, I used to go to Limebrook Farm in Maldon and would really recommend it. About 20 minutes away, I believe they only offer Full livery though.
