We are looking for full livery for 3 well behaved dressage geldings ranging from 4yr old baby to 15yr old advanced. 365 turnout and 20 X 60 floodlit good surface a priority along with excellent care. Maximum 20 minutes from Chorleywood. All ideas and references welcome please. Many thanks.

Cross Lanes Farm in Little Chalfont is very good. Most other local yards tend to be DIY although think there are one or two towards Chipperfield and Flaunden.

trouble with crosslanes there is very limited hacking.

chalfont st giles and seer green are also within 20 minutes from chorleywood as I lived in Beaconsfield in the past and horses in chorley wood and it is around 20 mins and round seer green you have great hacking

How is the hacking at Fairfield any different to Crosslanes, it's a five minute trot between the two and I've been on both yards and did exactly the same hacks from either. Admittedly Burtons Lane at certain times isn't great but you can just go the other way and get on the metro track into Carpenters simples. Fairfield is a great yard but it's DIY.

Well for one thing at the top of Fairfield track it leads onto a bridleway which is something Crosslanes does not have it is all road work. And you need to ride 10-15 mins down a busy lane to even reach Fairfield start point, and also from Fairfield you cross the road into Farm lane and up the bridleway.
