Hi guys, recently moved to Glasgow and finding the commute to my horse's current yard too much so am looking to move . I'm based in the east end of Glasgow and have arranged to go and see greyfriars riding school. Anyone know of it? Also does anyone know of anywhere else? Must do full or assisted livery. Thanks! :-)

I'm pretty close to the East end of Glasgow - grew up there in fact :)

I had some lessons at Roundknowe which is near Baillieston - it's also a RS though and not somewhere I'd recommend.

It depends how far you can travel - I think you might have to look a bit further to get somewhere that has the hacking you want.

I'm now in North Lanarkshire and keep my horse near Kirkintilloch/Cumbernauld.

There is Blackfaulds farm just behind the Fort - I've heard mixed reviews so I think you'd need to go see if for yourself to see if it suits you.

There is a yard near Uddingston called Woodhead. Not heard much about it and I doubt the hacking would be good - they have a website - http://www.woodhead-farm.co.uk/

If you can travel further, just down the M8 is my old yard which had good facilities and very good hacking - http://www.dunsyston-livery.co.uk/

If you can give me a better idea of your location (PM if you prefer) I can give you an idea of what else is available :)

Whereabouts in the east end are you and how far are you willing to travel? :)

I know a few yards that do full and assisted but not sure if they're too far for you.
