Hi,
I'm on the look out for a potential yard to move my 2 horses to. Am currently at a nice yard but without much safe hacking and am sending one of my boys to be reschooled so when he comes back I will be considering his future very seriously. We had an accident on the roads where we are a couple of years ago and both have had trouble overcoming it since. I'm looking for somewhere as close to dartford as possible, but don't mind travelling a little way for the right place. Preferably a quiet yard with stabling and 24hour turn out in the summer. I also have a shetland who could stay out 24hours or be stabled. If there is ample land and field shelters I would also consider just grass livery if that's all there is. Electric and water is my only real must, but a school would be lovely aswell. I'd rather have my own paddock as my fields are kept imaculate but if the paddock maintenance is strick i'm happy for them to mix and are happy with mares and geldings. The shetland can be a little cheeky monster and is always trying to drag my bigger one to the ground but it is just a case of small man syndrome. (They're both geldings). Obviously having a shetland fencing is an important factor to keeping him in the right field but I have plenty of electric to fit a lower strand if needs must. Don't want to move anywhere that's overgrazed as have been haying all year round the past few years and would quite like a break from that now, as would my bank account :) If anyone knows of anywhere please get back to me, be good to see if i have any options locally around. I'm not afraid of hard work and have made many improvements to the place I am at now, would certainly consider maintaining grounds or helping out in exchange for livery. Many thanks
