Hi all,
Does anyone know of a DIY or assisted livery yard in south Leicester that has spaces available asap please? I need to leave my current yard before spring as the farmer wants his grazing back for his cattle.
Ideally looking for herd turn out for as many hours as possible everyday no matter what the weathers doing and 24/7 turnout during the summer. A ménage would be a bonus but would be happy to school in a paddock if available. Quiet hacking needed as although my horse will face any traffic if there is a constant flow he gets a bit nervous - something I need to work on!
My horse is a 7 yo, quiet 15hh cob x gelding who gets on with everyone which means he's not great on individual turnout.
Please let me know if you know of anywhere or let me know if you think I'm looking for the impossible because I'm really struggling to find anywhere suitable.
Thanks everyone :)

Hi whereabouts are you looking for there is a new livery yard opening between barkby and beeby

Hi,
I've heard this new yard mentioned a couple of times. Do you know much about it? Do you have a contact number?
It's about half hour from me which is a little further than I'd like but if the yard is right then I'm prepared to travel a bit further (I prefer to be close so that I can get there quickly if neede). We're currently stabled near to mowsley.

Thanks :)

hi have you looked on wellandvalleyfeeds.co.uk

Hi, yes looked on WVF website but nothing suitable. I've also just trawled through preloved and can't find anything. I need to drive to horse warehouse but there's was nothing there when I looked a week or so ago.
Just seems that everyone has individual turnout nowadays...I don't get it

I have trawled through loads of tack shops and websites. I think we just sit in a pocket of heavy clay / few livery yards. I love mine, but sadly there is now no turnout due to the weather. I can understand it is wet, but 6 weeks in already is too much to cope with. Esp as the paddocks have plenty of grass in them. The search continues. Let me know if you find anything. How about the other yard in Mowsley?

Tilton yard is advertised in welland valley c&c equestrian.
Not sure of the number surname is East, and the yard is called valley view farm.

There are quite a few yards in Blaby, Narborough, and Thurlaston - Blaby mill, Hardwicke lodge, diamond. I think there's a few yards in Lubenham but they don't advertise really. There's yards in Peatling and Willoughby too. There's definitely onein kibworth, usually advertised on Welland valley feeds.

We are inbetween north kilworth and Walcote and offer part livery. Were probably not quite what your looking for as we dont always turn out in the winter and also nothing stays out 24/7 in summer either. Its mainly individual turn out but if horse is quiet it could go in with one other aslong as its not the clingy sort. Have hacking around the farm so you need never go on the main road. Good school with lots of show jumps.
Lubenham have lots of yards, your sometimes best to pop into these sorts of places to see if they have spaces. The Briggs' down at Saddington may hve something but once again thats individual turnout

Blaby Mill have stables at the moment. 01162775526

Group turn out, only had a few days this year of no turnout and that was down to the river bursting. Indoor/outdoor school
