Does anyone know much about Gubeon Equestrian in morpeth like livery prices/ reviews etc? I've tried ringing but i just can't seem to get in touch with them. Also does anyone have any other livery yard recommendations with good facilities for competing? I'm based in Tyne and Wear but I'm prepared to travel for the right place.

What sort of facilities are you looking for?
Don't know much about Gubeon sorry. Other ones I can think off would be Lane Farm, Benridge, Todburn or Gloucester Lodge.
 
Gubeon has beauiful schools I don't know about the hacking but I have heard its very restricted turnout .
Benridge has lovely schools too and they are lovely people yard has a lovely atmosphere .
Swarland EC has just had a new indoor surface laid and access to hacking I don't know if they have spaces .

The Gubeon is a purpose built facility based upon the very best in Europe.It's a very friendly yard and very well managed by James.He offers a very personal service to all his clients.
The facilities are the best in the north.Great hacking ,indoor and outdoor schools with great surfaces.

I've been on the yard 3years it's been great.
 
I don't personally know anything about the yard, however, an acquaintance has said there is little to no hacking although the people there are lovely.
I don't like James, as at a demo whilst unloading one of his younger horses, it slipped of the ramp, reared and caught and broke its nasal bone, and his reaction was not kind- he screamed at it to get down when it was obviously stressed and worried. Would not be on livery if he is the yard manager, I would be too worried that something like that would happen to one of mine if they were to panic, would he react the same way? Not professional, especially round a yard of children (who were close enough to see/hear, but not to be caught).
