Livery in Surrey...

We are currently at a DIY yard just outside Guildford, its cheap and cheerful, has a school and a field to ride in and generally a good atmosphere. However I now have only two horses (did have 4) both of whom are young and I could do with some help with occasionally. I'm looking at adverts for other livery yards nearby, ideally I need something DIY/Assisted DIY/Part with a school, all year round turnout and hacking that doesnt involve a main road (like we have at the mo) but seem to be hitting a brick wall as everything is full or part where everything bar riding is done for you - Really I just want a yard who will turnout, rug, feed in mornings and maybe muck out occasionally if I'm away etc. Plus having more experienced riders/YO/Instructor on site would be fantastic!

Anyone know of anything anywhere that might suit and doesnt cost £120 a week!

How far are you prepared to travel? Our yard is in Horley, Surrey but they can offer what you want

My yard is in Woking - Is that too far away? We have two schools, off road hacking (which is a bit limited) and its £140 a month for DIY.

Chobham is littered with livery yards (or at least was 5 years ago). Perhaps try taking a drive around there and pooping in speculatively to a few?

There is a really nice place I know in Chobham, it's called Langshot. Not sure if you have tried it, but if not it is worth a go!! PM if you want more details. Have you tried www.horsequest.co.uk and www.horsemart.co.uk ? They have a list of livery yards too.

i'm on one where you can have what you want really, has 2 sand schools (one has lights), grass jumping paddock, gallops, all yr turn out in mixed or individual groups and just south of G'ford. good off road hacking too.

My yard is in Hartley wintney. we do full/part and assisted livery. Assisted is feed turn out am mon-fri and bring in change rug in evening this is £50 A WEEK. Pm me if interested.
