I am looking for part livery for my 7 yr old 16'2 hh gelding within a 25 mile radius of Brighton. He's easy to do and very likeable. I've been looking everywhere - local papers, websites, tackroom notice boards. It's not proving too easy as DIY seems to be the thing at the moment. Any suggestions anyone?

pm me if you are still looking, mine is at a great place within your radius. im diy but they do full livery but definitely part livery and when i had to move mine back from a bad experience with a loaner the girls there could not do any more for me if they tried, they are the best bunch in the world. huge school, horsewalker and fab hacking etc too.

Have you tried Golden Cross, that is within your radius, you can see most of it on there website www.goldencrossec.co.uk. My friend has her horses there and would not consider anywhere else, its also very competitly priced for the area.

Unfortunetly my yard has no places currently and a waiting list, have you tried hangleton farm and ditchling common stud?

A good place to look is local riding clubs websites. If you go onto the BHS website (www.bhs.org.uk) - go to Riding Clubs, and look under Area 13 or Area 10 - that covers a broad area and a lot of club members but adverts on their websites for livery vacancies. May also be worth contacting them to see if you can put a "wanted" advert on their sites too. If you havent already, also try the Friday Ad website, they are linked to Horsemart and there were loads on there the other day.
