I have a pony out on loan to a lovely girl who has just got into the Agricultural college at Sutton Bonington.

She had some grass livery lined up for the pony but has been told today that what was originally £10 a week grass livery is now £80 a week Full livery :thud:/>

She is trying hard to find alternatives but is hitting a brick wall. Nottingham Uni are being very unhelpful but they may well be a bit snowed under with clearing to be bothered about liveries!!

Harsh as it may sound I really don't want this pony back so am hoping some people in the area may know of somewhere suitable... she is a 10 yr old 14hh Welsh type mare, can be grazed in a mixed herd & will live out all winter.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!!

Sue

There's a livery yard in norminton on soar,10 minutes away. It's £70 a month with stable & grazing. Bowleys farm it's called

There's also long lane in kegworth which is the riding school that the uni riding club ride at, not sure if there is any room but might be worth a try. There's also a couple of small yards near the uni campus, ones called frog hole farm I think and then some in East Leake if she has a car or a maybe bike!

We are a local yard to the Uni on the West Leake Road. We have a couple of livery spaces available.
American barn stables, floodlit ménage, direct access to the local bridle ways. For more info please give me a call in 07969 690139

Is this still your number? I am looking for livery for a years time. How far from the uni are you and do many of the students keep their horses with you?
