We have a friend who is thinking of moving down our way (Kent) and would need full or training livery for her horse. She has asked us about prices but we don't have a clue having kept ours at home.

Rough ideas of prices (and what is included) would be great as would suggestions for yards in Kent or Surrey.

Many thanks.

between £160 per week up to £300 + extras per week where i am in surrey. Trouble is we're in prime 'banker ville'. I wonder if livery prices will go down along with house prices??? (prob not)

Full livery including muck out, bedding, feed, turn out/bring in, (all-year turnout). Not including riding or lunging, but available at extra cost £95/week. This is in Kent.

As Tamz said above but including 5 days a week riding/training 160 quid a week just outside Sevenoaks with very experienced rider/trainer.

We have a couple of liveries- and one was on full but since my injury she left. We are on the Herts/Essex border and charged her £90 per week everything included except suppliments/wormer. She has access to our (small) floodlit arena, 2 bales of straw a week, ad lib hay, good quality feed, turning in and out everyday, mucking out daily and three 30 min sessions as per her requests- she asked us to lunge once, school once and hack once.

i'm in surrey and pay £90 a week for part livery - includes everything except riding. most yards are more like £120 per week in this area though and that doesn't include exercise, let alone training.

I charge between 90 - 110 depending on horse and what you need xx

Full training about £150 - £180 a week xx

look on Frogpool website under classifieds that will list most places with a vacancy round in Kent x

Thanks all, just checked back and there's a fair bit of variation there!

Stacey, thanks for the Frogpool suggestion, I hadn't thought of looking on there and we're not that far either! At least I will be able to give her some ideas for where to start looking.
