hope you guys can help !!
it silly really im on on a iver yard of about 8 who haev been there for about 2 years or more. i moved on yard at feb with no problems apart from my horse being diffrent to theres as i ride every day and compeat or go out weekley this meaning my horse has to be fit and sound which i assume you understand as would be unfair to do this with him being unhealthy. my friend moved her horse on to the yard about a mounth after me and we soon discoverd that he wasnt good with mares and the dominant gelding! so we moved them and hey have been in the own field about an acer big well with it being small it has no got no grass on it. so decided that they should be moved so put in with other 3 geldings and where quite happy (no dominant gelding in there ). then next morn i came down to find every horse 8 in total had been put in together. this being in a field about an acer and a half big my horse rug had a rip in it friends pony short in frount and one off the other ones had a bite on his bum so moved them out and popped in field with grass in. well now people are not happy they have been moved and that her horse is alas getting acused of doing stuff to others he is fairly inscure and only 6 so he keeps doing things again and again and always kicking up an fuss. one of the livery who has been there there adges now wants us to move fields again to a field that has not been grazes since last summer !!! what can i do would put back in original field but has lots of acorn trees in it and not much grass that bit don't bother me just puzzled what to do. if he does have to go out on really grassy field he will have to come in and go out for few hours a day carnt wear grazing mask as grass to long in there any advice please but be nice i hate livery yard politics .

sorry about your problems charlie i can only say one thing, really that is to look elsewere i dont like livery yard polititcs too take care

Find another livery yard who will respect both you and your horse!! :D
I would be absolutley livid and would want to know exactly who had moved my horse and who is going to pay for a new rug! No decent livery yard would just stick all the horses in together.
Dont take any rubbish from them, you are paying them rent to keep your horse there even if it is on DIY livery and as such you can expect certain things from them such as simply that your horse is in the nice safe field that you left him in and not turned out the minute your back is turned with other strange horses. They risked damaging your horse as in your friends and damaging your equiment ie your rug.
As I said get some answers as to why they felt they needed to move him and what they are now going to do about the rug? Yes I know they could tell you to look for another yard but I would suggest you do that anyway. IF they touch/ move your horse etc they are liable for it and all you need do is suggest court action, get a solicitors letter written to them and they will soon back off.
Luckily I am not in livery............... nobody would have me :D:D:D
