Livery question

I pay monthly, how we work it out cos some months are 4 wks others 5 is take the weekly charge X 52 then divide total by 12, so you pay the same amount each month

On our yard I think most people pay monthly....I'm on DIY & prefer to pay weekly, I con myself that it isn't costing me as much as it really is

open up a bank account for your liveries to pay by direct debit into
this would then show up as proof of payment in the account via statements and would also help them out as being paid when they are paid so if they was paid on the 31st of each month then there date of payment would be either 31st of every month or 1st of the new month -
make sure you ask for a month up front- tha way they are ahead of each month and then if they have probllesm with work via redundancy or job chnage then the amount per month is covered
also allows them to be able to change the date to new pay day
and threfore the horse and you and the customer have a home a livery and stablity in regualr payments
but you will have to the account for each livery
can get payment books
so no the stable the stables and have a samll office in yard or a palce where by you set on the wall a pigeon hole box
no - the pigeon boxes to match the stable nos
and then the rent book no- 1-10 say
this way as people leave the yard the book stays the same for that stable-- just has diffrent owners name it as new page is started etc
in the book you put dates for rent and sign it and so dos the owner of the horse this way when you doing book work accocunts it mataches for the accountant when you have to take them to him --
also in th rent book it can have what they own for hay straw and or wormers etc and date that it was paid or wasnt paid for soyou can keep a tally up
