LIVERY RICHMOND/WIMBLEDON

None around that area have turn out, well not that I know of.
I only know of Wimbledon Village Stables, Kingston and Stag Lodge.
There is a yard in claygate that has turnout, people box their horses to richmond park sometimes but that's the only yard I know of that has turnout.
It's impossible to find a yard that close to London that has enough land for turnout I'm afraid.

You'll be lucky to get much turnout in that area. Where do you live? Can you not try slightly further afield-Epsom, Cobham, Esher, Leatherhead which have good hacking and decent turnout?

Kingston Riding Centre has a small sister yard with t/o, Roehampton did have a small paddock but the majority of London yards will have additional land elsewhere that they will box horses to for small holidays. Can I ask does it absolutely have to be that area?

i'm afraid there is no turnout in that area - not from any yard that you could hack onto the commons without boxing up.

stag lodge doesn't do livery, wimbledon village stables only does livery at extreme cost, roehampton is shut now (or was last year - unless it has re-opened?) and again, kingston riding centre livery is very expensive.

there are one or maybe two places on ham common, primarily polo ponies - they do full livery, but I don't think there is any turnout there.

I remember seeing some horses turned out by the riverside in kingston last year - so there may be something around there. And there are some fairly grotty bits of grazing around the feltham/twickenham/hounslow areas, but nowhere I'd want to keep an animal.

further afield - epsom/claygate/esher is where you will find grazing.

ok - well you've also got lower morden livery. they have turnout and schools, but no decent hacking.

old farm stables in hampton have some grouped turnout. no idea if it's any good there or not.

there are some yards in the mill hill area - frith manor, the london equestrian centre, mote end farm and burtonhole farm. Limited hacking (although mote end farm has it's own farm tracks and XC) but they all have arenas and turnout.

decent yard at Bromley - bromley common liveries - plenty of turnout all year round.

shannon leigh stables and mount mascal stables in bexleyheath have turnout but the area is over-populated with horses and never enough grazing.

lots of stabling in the epping forest area with varying degrees of grazing and facilities but great hacking.

then quite a few yards in windsor/englefield green which of course have brilliant hacking in windsor park.
