I've posted on here before asking for help finding livery in South Oxon but didn't have much luck with some of the suggestions, so am trying again!

I've just moved to Watlington and am desperately looking for a livery yard for my horse (who's currently still with my family in the Midlands). Ideally somewhere that offers full-livery, but otherwise part livery and it must have at least a school and some off-road hacking.

Anywhere near Reading is too far away, as I work on the Oxford Business Park so ideally somewhere between Oxford (Cowley/Blackbird Leys end) and Watlington would be perfect, but if not I'd consider anywhere nearish Watlington (Wallingford, Benson, Nettlebed, Lewknor)...must be West of the M40 (or v.v.close to M40 if not).

I'm willing to consider small livery yards and competition yards and am pretty flexible with my budget. Please can people suggest some yards - I've spent hours searching the internet but with no luck (found a great yard but no spaces). Alternatively, if anyone has their own yard at their home and has a spare box and would be willing to help with my horse (for payment of course) please please get in touch.

I already know about the following yards:
Waterstock Dressage/Arrabella Whelan
Huntercombe
Alden Stables
Blewbury Centre

Hi fellow Oxford peep! *waves*!

I work on the Oxford Science Park ( a bit further round the ring road than you) and I'm based at a very friendly yard in Wheatley with fab hacking but sadly only a v tiny indoor school. YO is hoping to build outdoor arena but this is a work in progress at the mo. We're only 10 minutes (drive) from Waterstock so hire the school there on a regular basis and there are other schools within hacking distance.

Alternatively, have you looked at Stadhampton? There is an indoor and an outdoor school there. Not sure what the hacking is like though. I do know someone at this yard so could find out more info for you if you were interested.

There is also a livery yard called College Farm in Garsingston - not sure of facilities though. There is also a yard in one of the Baldon villages - again no idea of hacking/ facilities but I believe that there may be a school.

Hope this helps?
