Does anyone know of any yards / stables for rent in the Bardwell / Honington / Barningham area for DIY livery, sometimes part livery???

Doesn't have to have a menage but it would be nice!! A small yard would be ideal, even private where I could also lend a hand!

This is the closest livery yard to where you are looking - it is in Bardwell. All year turnout including 24hr in summer (although not enormous paddocks), horsewalker, outdoor floodlit menege, showjumps, and a few portable XC fences, round/lunging pen being installed in the near future. Believe me, I hunted high and low in the area when deciding where to keep Fizz!

Can't remember how much it is a week, but £121.33 per month. Straw available to buy on site.

I am on the yard at the moment but moving at the end of the month due to relocation, nothing to do with the yard. However, everyone on the yard is absolutely lovely - such a great group of people, and very friendly relaxed atmosphere. No bitching, which is perfect. There are only 7 of us there at the moment, soon to be 5.

This is one person on here HHO trolls around saying that the YO is a nightmare - please ignore her! Personally, I think the YO is perfectly fine and will offer extra services at a cost, including full livery if required so is flexible.

Spaces at the moment, and no, I'm not on commission! v

Also there is a yard in Tostock, they seem nice and friendly, if you want a smaller yard Riddlesworth wont be that great as it is quite big and the DIY fields are literally a 20 minute walk away which might not seem that long but it is 40 mins to get your horse in and another to turn it out and then there is traisping about with hay and rugs. Hacking is good there but the main road is very busy and fast.
Queach is a fab yard, a few of the liveries are on here. As a result vacancies don't come up that often. I used to keep my horse at Riddlesworth then moved to Euston, the yard is private now so of no use to you.

Hi, I keep my horse at Riddlesworth Livery Yard. It is very well run and a great place to keep your horse. Hacking is fantastic, there is an outdoor school and the people there are really, really lovely, and the Yard Manager is great. She is really kind and helpful. She does have vacancies at the moment so would be worth enquiring. Not sure if the website is working at the moment as I can't get into it, but if you are interested or have any more questions, pm me and I can let you have all the numbers and everything.

Apologies for reviving and dusting off this ancient thread but does anyone have contact info for the yard on the B111 just outside Hopton?

While I'm at it I'd be interested to know of anywhere offering 24/7 - 365 turnout or grass livery or come to that of any grazing to rent or few acres of land to purchase in this locale too.

Cheers.

I live in the next village to Hopton, did not even know there was a livery yard there. Have occasionally seen a couple of horses grazing in a field next to a farm just as you come out the village, but have no contact details for them if that is the place.
