I'm moving to Stamford later this summer and I don't know the area at all, or even anyone that lives near there, so I would be very grateful for livery suggestions/recommendations!

My high maintenance mare needs as much turnout as possible to help with her arthritis - ideally 24/7/365, if the ground is decent (she gets bad mud fever so can't be in a swamp) or somewhere with barns rather than individual stables for winter, although I am aware I'll probably have to compromise on this and i am happy to look at options. She's had nearly a year off with various problems, so I need somewhere with safe hacking where we can build up distances. I don't really need a school or any other facilities for the foreseeable future, but I do need services (ideally full/part grass livery) because of work (I'm more than happy mucking in; I just can't be there every day). I'm looking for somewhere within about fifteen minutes of Stamford.

Ideas welcome - I have a couple of place to follow up but there's nothing like a recommendation!

There aren’t that many yards with 24/7 turnout all year round in the area.
Wittering grange might be your best bet, facilities and yard are good and they do grass livery.
There’s uffington riding stables and livery yard on the other side of Stamford but I don’t think they have much turnout.

Mole valley in Stamford and chandlers in barnack often have yard adverts up for the smaller yards.

Quite a few of livery spaces in the area are now advertising on Facebook, horsepoo Peterborough group, so you might be worth joining it and asking there for recommendations.

I moved near Stamford (couldn’t afford to move to the town itself) from the Peak District a few years ago and started off on a large livery yard so I could figure out farriers, vets and hay supplies etc with help from other liveries. It’s a lovely place to live!
