Anyone have or had livery with Woodlands Court Farm? Think its quite a new yard in Stoke D'Abernon, wondered on prices etc after seeing an advert for them.
Also Lower Farm riding stables - good horses & good for lessons?
I am looking to spend no more than £300 a month on livery, but can't do DIY as i can't ensure i can get there everyday. Would need to be assisted or some kind of part livery. Any one know anywhere around the Bookham/Leatherhead/Stoke D'Abernon/Cobham area?

Im a bit confused. I thought that yard was Leon & Natalia, and then next door is Woodlands court farm with newly built stables & outdoor school which im sure was advertised by someone called Steve - or is it all shared?

Do you know what exactly assisted livery covers in general? Is it just if you cant get down 2 evenings a week someone can feed etc for you?

I don't know anything really about Woodlands Court Farm (the new one) which is completely separate from WF. There are different parts to Woodlands Farm at the moment - one run by Sarah and the others are looked after by Leon and Natalia. The schools and most facilities at WF are shared by Sarah/Leon/Natalia.

I'm sure Leon can be flexible with regard to assisted livery - best idea is to give him a call, explain what you want and he can price it up for you.

I know the set-up is a bit confusing looking from 'the outside in', but it makes perfect sense once you're there, and all runs quite happily :D

there is a couple near leatherhead- Chace farm stud is in ashtead/headley and hurstfields equestrian center is in walton on the hill.
Don't know anything about the ones you mentioned but seen NTequine's facebook and looks like they have really good facilities! but im guessing thats woodlands farm not WCF

Greenfield Farm stables are also close in Effingham if anyone knows about them, but as far as i can see the property and yard are on the market?

Lower farm I've heard bad press! Woodlands Court is nice my friend is a grass livery there. I'm next door in Woodlands farm with Sarah Fell. The lady that runs Woodland court seems very nice and they have a nice new school. Hope helps. J

Yes Greenfield is closed (last November), we were there but now stabled in Westcott, Dorking at a really lovely place. Chace Farm were full when I rang up last autumn, as were Headley Park Farm and Salcombe Stud in Headley. Lucy Gasston had spaces and fantastic facilities - just a bit close to the M25 (all in Headley).
Paccesham is in Leatherhead, but may be too busy for you.
Good luck!

I rang this yard and spoke to 'Steve' about assisted grass livery which they advertised and to be honest he was very unhelpful!!! Didn't seem to have much of a clue but maybe I caught him on a bad day!!!!! He just didn't seem keen to 'assist'

they do have a high turn over of liveries and always seem to be advertsing in horsemart its quite hard to get good assisted livery in this part of surrey

Yeah bit of a weird phone call My gelding needs medication in a small amount of food every day, when I told him this before I finished he said 'well the vet can come up to the field every day and give it can't they?' I then explained that the vet didn't need to attend it just goes in a bit of food and his reply was 'well you can come up and do that can't you?' I just put the phone down:mad:

i am not sure but i think the yard was just built by someone who wanted to let it as a whole yard and when they couldnt they are doing it themselves its best to go to an estabished yard, there are a few yards in the area with high turn overs so best avoid them its so hard to find yards run by good knowledgable yard owners i am so glad i am at the yard i am at best yard i have ever been at
