Livery Yard Decisions

Thank you everyone, I think the resounding answer was both places had compromises and a third option would probably be better!

Thankfully I found another yard (closer than the other options!) which seems perfect: a decent size stable, good turnout, a school, jumping paddock, off road hacking and plenty of storage. Plus not ridiculously expensive either! I went to go and see the horse again today and he’s so lovely - one of the most genuine horses I’ve met. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan and he comes to live with me in a few weeks!

12 x 9 stable would be an absolute no for me. Whst happens if horses have to be kept non for snow or ice, or landlord changes all year turn out to in if ground wet,
