Livery yard for DIY near outskirts of york, south

We are relocating back to yorkshire from northumberland in june and need livery for a 15.3 horse that I share with my 2 girls 14 and 16. We need DIY but prefer a yard that can turnout/ bring in etc and at times do full livery for when we are away. An arena is a must and some hacking, turnout at least partially during summer and winter but prefer to keep in some of the day during summer.If anybody has a spare stable I would be able to help on yard if required as not working now but was a showjumping groom for many years in a former life! I would second Warren House if hacking is important as it is all off road and peaceful. Gwyn is v experienced at looking after horses - I was there last year and left to do DIY livery as they only offered full when I was there. It is a short ride from Selby Riding Clubs summer field and has a small sand arena. If you want a better arena Glade Farms is good (I was there for a v short time) lovely owners. I left because I didn't rate the hacking - my horse and I lost a lot confidence hacking as the cyclists spooked him.

Thanks for the tips- we have a competition horse so need a decent arena. Hacking would be good too as he is only young...? Prefer diy or would do part but as I dont work and I am an ex groom it seems mad to pay somebody to do it !

sorry to bomb this thread but im moving to York as well but I need one as close to York st john uni yo31 area and wondered if anyone knew of any thanks!
