Bit of a long shot but am looking for DIY livery for a gelding in the Aylesbury area from May onwards.

Am new to the area so don't know where to start looking!!(have put adverts in local feed shop but have had no reponse)

A school and 24 hour summer turnout would be fab

Got no idea what it's like, or what it's called, as I've never been there (and my horsey patch is further south in Bucks) but I have noticed a yard with a "Liveries" sign outside it along the road that goes through Stoke Mandeville, somewhere near the railway station.

On the other side of Aylesbury, out towards Leighton Buzzard, I have a friend at a yard in Drayton Parslow. Is that too far away? Let me know if you want details of that one.

Sally Skier used to have Squirrel farm there.....but I have no idea if it's still around, I did hear rumours it was for sale. Try 07053544057.

There's HideAway farm, in Oving which out towards Addington Manor/Buckingham side of Aylesbury. You can google that.

Or perhaps try ConeyCroft Stud, which is Wendover but very easily accessible from that side of Aylesbury, and Wendy, the lady is lovely. Again, they have a google-able website.

I saw an advert in The Advertiser for a new yard in Hardwick on the Buckingham Road weblink:

http://www.njsliveries.com/index.php?id=1&link_id=2

Only 10mins drive from the centre of Aylesbury.

Also I noticed on the RB Equestrian notice board on Saturday that Barrattstown Stud Farm in Whitchurch were advertising livery vacancies. Perhaps if you phone RB they wouldnt mind getting the number for you, if you are interested. RB's phone number is 01908 365335

Good luck.

Alternatively, Dennis's Saddlery in Fleet Marston on the A41 (Bicester Road) on the way to Waddesdon have a big notice board that generally has livery type adverts.
