Hi, I'm looking for a livery yard/stables to place my horse in as of October, does anyone know any livery yards near university of Warwick/in Coventry? Preferably one that is not too expensive and can do assisted DIY/part livery! As I will mostly be doing hacking, light schoolwork it is not necessary for the yard to have an indoor stable (although that would be a bonus!) Thanks! :)

How near .we live 5 miles from campus and can ask around. Phone Townsfield saddlers and ask if any are on their advert board also Swans feed merchant do an adverrt board. Google and you will find phone numbers.

Townsfield is in Butts Lane Allesley and Swanns Bridlebrook Lane Allesley. Balsall Common is near Beanitt Farm does livery I think. Find phone number for Docker Shepherd CottageAllesley that is nice.Hacking is not brilliant. Otherwise you need around Kenilworth or Stoneleigh which are very near

Hi,

I'm also looking for a yard in this area, either tile hill, balsall common, lapworth those sorts of areas so if anyone knows of anywhere please could you let me know,

Many thanks xx

My yard is in balsall common but it's currently full.

Please do not go to beanit farm.

Hi myself and friend are desp looking for somewhere (3 horses and a shetland) and need to stay together. We've been told Beanit has vacancies-can you tell me why Beanit is a problem pls (in private if you prefer). We are desperate to find somewhere ASAP as where we are is a long way from ideal and just getting worse by the day. All problems are relative and Im wondering how much worse it could be than where we are....:| thanks

The yard where my share horse is currently is not too far from Warwick (in between Warwick and Solihull) - not sure if there are any vacancies at the moment though! Its called Netherwood Farm.

There are others nearby - Swallowfield is really nice (brilliant facilities) and that is near Lapworth.

If it was just one (and a gelding) you would be welcome to share my paddocks, but we have no stables (just the paddocks and bridle path). It back onto Warwick Uni, you could walk it from anywhere on campus.

Beanit is a massive yard with a lot of young teenage girls and although it has good facilities, there's a really high turnover. You could try Pool House Farm a little further down the lane (Hob Lane), they have a riding school but also take liveries.

For the poster with more than one pony, there's also a field to let next door to Tile Hill train station, I'm sure I saw a signboard on the gate for a letting agency. Think it has a stream and is a few acres, theres a metal storage container but no stables.

In Balsall there's a place on Old Waste Lane that takes liveries, has a menage ond XC course, not sure what the name of it is though. There's also Little Beanit (which is not Beanit Farm) near to the humpback bridge between Nailcote Hall and Balsall Common.

Hope this helps.
