Livery yard near Stone, Staffordshire

I'm looking for a livery yard near Stone, Staffordshire. I wont be needing it until the new year, but want to try and find somewhere suitable sooner so there's no rush.

Somewhere suitable to bring on a young event horse, so good facilities including an arena essential. Off road hacking would be ideal.

I'm looking for DIY livery with access to stables and turnout.

As I'm fairly new to the area I don't really know the reputations of the places I've found. The most suitable place I seem to have found so far is Acton Hall, but it's in the opposite direction to work (Wolverhampton) for me. So somewhere in Stone or Stafford would be much better.

Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated.

What type of turn out do you want ? many of the yards in this area only do the postage size indvidual, or huge herd turn out, and tbh if you are around the wolverhampton work area, you will find the traffic hideous, and if you are going to be DIY - you really need to consider where you will be keeping your horse as he could end up standing out till well gone half 6 or 7 if the M6 has one of its usual nights. You may be better looking for somewhere that will give you assisted livery - as I think you may need it more than you think.

Its run by Rob Lovatt and Tim Downes - both really good trainers. I've taken my horse there for lessons for years and on a couple of occaisions had a horse there at livery for training, I can highly recommend them, and i think they will have the facilities for what you want to do.
