Hiya, just wondered if anyone knows of any livery yards in the Nottingham or Derby area as close to Beeston or Risley as possible preferably closeish to both. Must have floodlight menage and 24/7 all year turnout or help with turning out in mornings available if not. I will consider working livery as my horse used to be kept in a riding school. Please no where too expensive i.e. full livery yards or competition yards as they are a bit out of my price range.
Thanks.

hiya, slight change of plan. I am now considering full livery yards in the borrowash area. I know of lakeside, cloudside and draycott house. anyone that haves any info about these or any others it would be greatly appreciated.

I know 2 of the one's you mentioned and will highly recommend 1.....Lakeview...brilliant yard. Nowhere else compares to it tbh for brilliant facilities, lovely people, complete peace of mind, knowledgable staff and outstanding care of the horses....

heyy, yeah donna has text me. I'm gonna come have a look round soon. Its just on the very maximum of my budget so keeping my options open. Yeah I have had enough!

Totally agree, and the icing on the cake is I'm there lol :D

Risley Farm - but limited turnout in the winter and no assistance (unless you get friendly with someone);

Becky's place - across the road from Risley, but I don't have a number for her;

Draycott House is, I believe, only doing full livery these days;

Church Farm - limited turnout in winter and again, no assistance unless you get friendly with someone;

Trentham - don't know if they have spaces. Lovely, lovely school and jumps and owner :D. Limited turnout in winter, but assistance :D

Donna's is nice :D

There's one just down the track from Trentham, but I know nothing other than it's Adrian the hay man;

Trowell - they have a school, and I believe offer assistance, but I don't know any more than that. Ages since I've been to see it.

Would highly recommend Woodpecker stables at Dale Abbey if that isn't too far for you, Emma who owns it is lovely. Not sure if they have any spaces but she has a website if you google it you'll find her number to ask.

Also Donna and Richard at Lakeview are great, I go for lessons with Donna and the menage is fantastic.
