Once again, I am asking for information on any decent livery yards in West Berkshire but preferably close to Pangbourne/Streatley.

I would consider Upper/Lower Basildon, Streatley/Goring, Aldworth, Bradfield, Compton etc. I am looking for good turnout, assisted DIY or part livery, indoor school a bonus. Good hacking essential. Private yards preferred, no riding schools as I've been there, done that.

Have you tried Fiona in Tidmarsh? Don't have any details but her yard was recommended to a friend who was looking recently.

Anything available on the Englefield estate? Again, don't have any details but I'm sure I heard about livery there a while back.

Home Farm in Padworth sounded nice when I called about it last year, but didn't visit in the end.

You could give Valley Vets a call - they're based in Bradfield and might know somewhere.

Shame you've ruled out riding schools - Cullinghood is nice (I have lessons there and a few friends are on livery there).

I guess Mortimer is too far? I'm at a nice yard that ticks most of your boxes (no indoor, hacking is ok but not great - depends what you're used to hacking wise).

qr cane end lovely but pricey...cullinghood, wouldnt trust em to remember to turn out! but nice enough place, tidmarsh lovely and hardwick too.

Hardwick is a bombsite held together with baler twine. Tidmarsh is lovely but the hacking is all road based as all of the land around it is private and the few short bridlepaths have to be hacked to on the road. There's a yard at Bottom Farm in Mapledurham but it has no school. Cane End is definitely the best one and not pricey considering all of the extras that aren't charged for. You'd be lucky to get in there as the liveries rarely leave, worth a call though.
