Can anyone recommend any good livery yards between guildford and leatherhead and if there is any that I should avoid please pm me with them.

Looking for new livery yard, part livery nice facilities, nice yard, nice people - ideally a smaller type yard.

I know that the best yards probably don't have to advertise and this is the one's I'm trying to find!

Hi I'm looking for Part - everything except riding, grooming and tack cleaning.

Ideally a smaller type yard, somewhere to ride in winter evenings, turnout all year round, ideally all day and night in the summer - only in for a feed. good hacking, trailer parking. I've seen a couple but nothing that really grabs me!!

You might like to try Woolgars Farm, Blakes Lane, West Horsley. they have fab hacking, an indoor and outdoor school and good turnout (in pairs I think). They have an on-site cross country course too. It used to be a big yard but the farm managers girlfriend now does it herself (it used to be leased out) so only about 8 horses there now so very quiet. Her name is Kerry, if you google Woolgars Cross Country the landline is their home number and you will need to leave a message as they aren't in the house much.

Otherwise there is ChalkPit stables in Bookham, which are excellent and the girls there lovely. They don't have much turnout though.

If you want details on any other specific yard, PM me and I will let you know if I know them.

Is Godalming to far? A good friend of mine runs a livery yard where they hold the BE Munstead Horse trials, and have all the facilities you are after. Pm if you need contact details.

Badgers Farm is good - I don't know if they have vacancies at the moment though.

Have a look in the window of Attlee's, that's where I found my livery yard which is excellent but too wee to have a website of its own!

Looked in Rokers at the weekend and got a few numbers to try but am starting to loose dispare about finding a place that suits us!

Godalming is probably a bit too far for us - I'm trying to stop commuting as I do too much of that at the moment

I am a livery at Denbies on top of Ranmore Common in Dorking. We do have all year turnout, hacking is brilliant as we are right on the downs and IMO, its a friendly yard.! PM me if you want more info. While there are no spaces atm, Emily does keep a list so could be worth having a chat with her!
