Livery Yard wanted Shifnal/Cosford area

Moving soon to the Shifnal/Cosford area and need somewhere to keep my horse. 15.2hh 5yrs Welsh X. We like to do a bit of everything. Would need stable & grazing, quite like there to be a menage and some bridlepaths or off road hacking fairly close. Any recommendations

There are two yards at Tong, Church Farm and Tong Park Farm. Both are very close to bridleways and off road riding. There is also Kingswood at Albrighton,, but I don't know what the hacking is like there. There is also a yard at Lilleshall which gives access to very quiet lanes I believe.

Hoping to come and have a look round the area end of the week.
In a past thread someone said Jane Money's yard New House Livery, near Weston Park was good but can't find details of it anywhere.

It's just North of Weston Park, on the right off the A41 towards Newport. Chatwell Lane/Chester Rd/Plough Bank.

Lilleshall livery centre have a facebook page, they are over the road from me the hacking is pleasant. (its near lilleshall sports centre)

I live in codsall right by cosford. There are a couple of yards down strawmoor lane (I think thats what the lane is called) that seem really nice

I don't think Kingswood do livery now do they? Thought it was just a competition yard now...

As someone said, there are two in Tong that you could look around. You could also speak to The Wyke at Shifnal; IIRC they do working livery, depending on what you want. Not sure what's in Cosford. There are a few around the Weston Park area, might be worth just driving around and having a look.

New(ish) yard at Cosford was full with wait list within weeks. Call in at Albrighton Feeds when you are in area there are always loads on notice board.

Kingswood definitely still does livery it's wether they have spaces as very desirable.
