Hi everyone,
I will be moving my gelding down to the area soon and I am also new to this area so wondering if anyone could recommend a yard to us nearby? I would require part or full livery as i work 12hour shifts; an indoor school as he needs exercised throughout the year; and a few hours winter turnout as he goes box-mad if he doesn't get out to stretch his legs (thinks he is a hardy pony but hes a warmblood lol). If you know of anywhere that I could look into that'd be great if you could let me know. Many thanks!

Hi i live in middlesbrough and have kept my horse on 2 livery yards, i used to keep him at addisons which was really good and has great facilities but it was very expensive and we couldn't afford it when they put the prices up. I am now at a yard in maltby not far from where i used to be and i love it, there is an indoor and outdoor school, jumps and a horsewalker (lots of all year turnout too) and haylege and straw is included in the price of £130 a month, you have private tackrooms ajoining the stables too. So it depends what you want and your budget, addisons is a nicer yard for hacking and some facilities but homefields liveries is brilliant and so friendly and good value for money :) hope this is helpful. Other yards include spell close, stainsby stud, saltburn riding school, eston, kirklevington, maltby farm liveries, upsall grange, bens bridge, ford close riding centre, there is a yard in egglescliff which i am not sure of the name and emmersons riding centre.
