I am currently stabled in Waltham Abbey but, due to starting a full time job, I am looking for stables with all year turnout. I am looking for DIY livery on a small yard (preferably.) Looking for stables with good hacking and a school.

Unfortunately the turn out will need to be individual as he was kicked last year and ended up staying at the vets for a week and can no longer go out with other horses.

I live in Highams Park so do not want to be too far from home.

Any suggestions?

Try Manor Farm in High Beach one of the only yards in that area with all year turnout all day and everyday, I think as you want your horse out alone you will struggle in that area most of the yards have limited turnout, or they did when I kept mine in that area some years back, the bottom part of Manor Farm has small fields with blocks of two stables with your own field so this might be better for you, although the main yard does have some smaller fields he might let you have one on your own.

Had a look at manor farm but there was no elecrticity and would be pitch black walking up to the school. Still considering this though.

No there wasnt any one the main yard. We did talk about installing a battery for the stable lighs but being at the bottom it was also the walk up which would be very dark aswell. Still enquiring.

Many people that were at the bottom used to drive down the drive it was very steep though so not good for snow and ice, I kept my horse in the first block at the bottom of the hill for a few months then the girl opposite left and it got lonely so I moved up the top when a stable came free, you could go down there until a stable comes up at the top thats what I did, have you tried Fairmead where the cattery is? Not sure if you get everyday turnout but its a much smaller yard now so his got more field space, a friend of mine keeps her kids pony there I could ask for you?
