Hi,

My friend is looking for a livery yard as she is looking to buy her first horse in the Durham/ Sunderland areas (postcode dh4)

Ideally she wants a yard with support, ie other people to hack with etc and also close to events such as local shows, pony club etc and with at least one school. Child friendly is a plus as she has quiet children who are 7 and 10.
She is looking for DIY or possibly part livery but can't afford full.

Anyone know of anywhere suitable?
Has anyone heard of pockerly livery yard? Or Murton?

Thanks

Pockerly is also a Riding school and has a good reputation form what I hear. I think Holmside Hall would be ideal, big friendly yard with lots of people to help, DIY part and full livery, 2 big schools, BHS instruction on site, there are children on the yard and also shows on site most weekends.
