Does anyone know of any good yards to the west of Aberdeen? We're thinking of moving up there later this year and could use some recommendations!

Hi,
I can highly recommend Fountain Equestrian in Dyce which may be a little too close to the city for you. It has a huge indoor school (30x70) complete with jumps etc, three outside arenas (20x60) and loads of really good grazing. They hold regular riding club clinics, loads of other training and demonstrations and both BD and BSJA comps regularly.
Further out there is Ladyleys in Oldmeldrum which is also quite good. They have two indoor schools and two outdoor arenas. they also have regular training clinics, BD and SJ comps. Their grazing is not quite as good but the people are friendly and there is good off road hacking.
There are loads of other yards round about. If you want to know about more PM me.

? I haven't been back in ages, but I liked it when I was there - VERY clean (is it still sparking??) Do you still get a tack room each???? That was total luxury!
