Does anybody know if there are any livery yards in the Bridgend/Cardiff area that offer "true" all year turnout? By this I mean that they can go out every day regardless of the weather, preferably into well managed fields. I don't mean 24/7 turnout all year round as I'm happy to bring in over the winter months.
Most of the yards I have seen say that they offer all year turnout but then they either cram too many horses into the fields or don't rest the fields, with the result that during the wetter winter months the horses are kept in for days or weeks on end. I don't really think this is okay but it seems to be the norm in this area.
So do any yards with true all year turnout exist or do I just have to accept that this is the way things are around here?
