I am moving to Chichester and am looking for livery yard recommendations. Full, part or assisted livery, must have a school, off road riding and preferably a hot shower (not essential as long as I can bring a portable one).

Prefer a small adult yard.

Are there any yards that meet some or all of my requirements? Any yards to avoid?

Many thanks

If you're on Facebook, the best places to ask are West Sussex Riders and Sussex Horse Community. You'll find lots of help on there, I'm sure.

There's a yard next to Oldwick Saddlery (and more importantly, the cafe!) that looks like it has good hacking and good facilities but I don't know any more about it than that.

I think Lavant House is close to Chichester & I think they do part/full livery but they are also a RS so neither small or solely adults :D

I have family/friends that live in the area so don't know it too well from a horse owner perspective. Driving in, it seems quite a horsey area though so sure you'll find something fairly easily!
