Livery Yards in Falkirk/Denny Area

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any livery yards in Falkirk/Denny? I am moving to the area soon and am looking for either full or Mon-Friday livery. The Avonbridge/Slamannan area is too far out for me although I have heard of a few in this area which is a shame. I also need all year turnout. I'd be most grateful if anyone that can recommend a good livery yard.

off the top of my head Babbithill and Pirie but they are both in the areas you have stated are too far away. What area are you moving to specifically?

Thank you both for replying I'm moving to central Falkirk, near the town centre.

Woodend is about 10 mins from the centre of Falkirk - I have a few friends on that yard
and Kingsbarn is about the same - dont know what their turnout is like though but their facilities are great. Milnholme is a great wee yard, also have a couple of friends on there, its about 15 mins from the town centre.

Yikes! Shows you how long its been since I spoke to the people I know who were liveries there then. Best start making some phone calls and find out where they went lol

Lots of livery yards in the area but not many do full livery. Riverside in Kilsyth and avonmill near Denny might (pm measles on here for avonmill). Kings barn is a 5 min drive from falkirk. There is somewhere fintry way that does full too.

Recommend Riverside in Denny. They have a website and facebook page of you Google them. The owner, Gwen, couldn't be nicer and it's a very friendly yard. It's just past Strathcarron hospice if that helps with location.

There is Alan Wylie's yard in Skinflats, about 10 mins from Falkirk. Turn out limited in winter as far as I'm aware but on the plus side it has a fantastic indoor arena.

Sorry didn't see you needed assistance, Alan's yard is DIY only. Riverside do part/ full and their groom is the loveliest girl

Thanks so much for the replies. I will try to work out how to PM Measles on here and look up Riverside. Unfortunately due to my new job and long working hours I wont get home until 8ish at night so need full livery.

I'm sure riverside have a waiting list. Both there and avonmill have a fb page (I think)
