Hello.... I know this topic crops up time and time again and I may be asking the impossible, but I was wondering if anyone knew of nice yards near London (preferably herts/bucks) for part livery and 24/7 turnout in the summer?

I am moving my mare from her current yard and want to turn her away for a couple of months first (she needs to grow some foot back). I have found grass livery for her in the short term, but will be looking for somewhere permanent in the autumn and would love to find a place that will allow me to turn her out full time in the summer months (it's not so much about cost as about what's best for her).

Thanks in advance!

Sent you a PM but thought I'd give you a little bump too in case anyone else in the lunchtime crowd knows of places!

what sort of horse do you have?

we have 24/7 all year turn out at the yard I am on, currently full but probably vacancies in August/September for ponies or cobs.

Unfortunately I don't there is the part livery option at our yard though there are several ladies that help out with services.

You could also try catlips.

Have you heard of Stanmore Riding School aka Grove Farm? Nice turnout, services so part/full livery as required. Not too many mares, 24/7 turnout currently.

PM if you want info on local yards, I know lots! Also a very lovely if super quiet yard near Hemel Hempstead, huge boxes, great turnout, the Dacorum shows are held there. Services available as required.

Houndswood in Radlett also has space, very quiet, YM pretty much on site, great turnout. Run by a friend of a friend.

She's a stressy Akhal-Teke (think Arab/thoroughbred brain wise....) so very far removed from a sensible cob! Will try catlips, thanks!
