Can anyone recommend any livery yards in manchester, I am sick of the yard I am on at the minute,We have 20+ horses going out in summer in 6 acres, i cant even go in to how much i dont like the yard anymore.

But if anyone can recommend any, I would like decent grazing, nice stable as the ones we have leak and doors fall off. Preferably not have the yard under water when it rains. Wouldnt mind an indoor or outdoor or both? I just dont want to move of to somewhere i cant school my horse.

This is a big thing now i need to school my horse but we have no indoor, and the outdoor is like going for a swim in the sea. Sorry about my little bit of a rant, Ive just had enough.

what about the riding school croft end just out of Ashton going towards Oldham. It has an indoor and an outdoor and seems like a lovely riding school and they do liveries. They seem very pro active and have Andrew Hamilton (the showjumper) down there alot doing demo,s etc. The lady that runs it is called Pat she is very nice. You can look up the number on the internet.

Oh see that wouldnt be any good for me then if you can only turn out for an hour. I like my horse to have a lot of grazing in the summer, I dont mind if it isnt overnight as i like to tuck my horses into bed, Im a softy but oh well.

We've got a livery who moved from croft end because of the turnout situation, so I'm only going on what she said.

However if they hire out their schools, then it might be worth moving to a yard close by so that you get the grazing and not miss out on the schooling.

Yeah i think i will do that insteadm Sounds like a plan, most of the stables round here have schools, I just would ideally want the best of both so its not a hassle, I know sometimes its not always going to be that way but i like to have most of it.
