So, I'm trying to make a mock-up of costs of owning a horsey for my parents (because I'm a sensible person ;)) and I was wondering if any of you wonderful people knew of good livery yards around Richmond that aren't too expensive? I do tutoring and make about £100 a month plus the odd babysitting job, but because of school I don't have any time to get a *proper* job, so I can't exactly go for luxury. My parents would probably pay some of the costs, but I'm not sure how much.... lol.

Sorry, rambled a bit there! Anyways, thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge :D

I hate to say this but livery in Richmond will be seriously expensive. I am unsure if there are any DIY yards in the area but there are (or used to be) some upmarket and very expensive full livery yards. If you have a limited budget you may have to look further afield - do a google search or try ******* as I am sure there must be some out there! Good luck.

Out on A3, in Ham, around Richmond park, Osterley Park, Hounslow way, down A316, Sunbury. Not huge amount of choice. I drove to Chertsey / Lyne area.
