Have decided (or rather, had the decision made for me ;)) that we need to try to save money, so I'm looking in to Livery yards in my area, that could be cheaper? I googled them, but didn't come up with any I hadn't already heard of/done research into.

So, does anyone on here have any good yard recommendations near Shrewsbury? Obviously, the nearer the better, but really, it depends on how good the yard is :)

Thanks in advance :D

What sort of livery are you looking for? I live in Baschurch and horses are on DIY livery in Ryton X1 Towns. Very relaxed and we are left to get on with it! He may take another. There is no school, only stables but direct access to bridle paths to The Cliffe and Nesscliffe. Alternatively there is someone advertising just as you come in to Baschurch, they have an outdoor school - names Warner - I can get the number next time I am passing if its of interest - don't know if they do full, part-time or DIY. There is also a livery yard just outside Ryton XI Towns, Kim Webster, she has an indoor school.

Try the Isle at Bicton, they have loads of off road hacking (including access to some of the funride jumps, menage, show jumps etc) and have just built an additional livery facility. I believe they are very reasonable rates but only do DIY.
