I am re-locating to the Stevenage area soon as my work is moving. Does anyone know of any livery yards in this area as I am finding it hard to find one.

I am looking for DIY with Services available. I travel through work from time to time and need someone experienced to look after him while I am away. He is rising 6 and seems to always misbehave when I am away.
Where is your yard in Welwyn? I contacted one yard there and they were full.

Essendon but I know we are full (unless you have a small pony).
Did you try Lince's farm in WGC? Have you decided where you are going to live yet? There are some lovely yards around Hertford (Bayford, Brickendon, Little Berkhamsted) but may be too far from Stevenage for you. There are some yards around Hitchin too which is a nice place and not far from Stevenage, sadly I don't know the names of any just from what I have seen driving around. It may be worth popping in to some in the area you want to live.

I've tried Linces Farm and they are full.
Hertford wouldn't be too bad as I will be working there. We are only moving to Stevenage as the trains are better for my partner.

Chesfield, there is an indoor school and lots of unaff comps there.01438 352654, just N of Stevenage at Graveley.

As mentioned above, theres a couple of nice livery yards in Bayford. I'm sure theres one in Aston and a couple in Benington and also in the Tewin area too. I'm at a DIY yard in Hertford which I love, a lot of the DIY yards have a person that does a livery service when people are away.

I'm the luton side of hitchin. there are lots of yard around us (most DIY). Loads of amazing hacking but to be fair if you are working in hertford i'd look between stevenage and hertford as the traffic around hitchin in the morning/evening is not great!
I'd go to the tack shops and ask if they know of any yards near by with vaccancies (thats what I did!). also drive around your preferred area and take a look as there tend to be lots of little yards which fill by word of mouth so have no need to advertise.
