I am going for a job interview in the Southwark area of London. I am not very familiar with the area and my decision on whether to take the job will be weighted on whether I can find livery for my two horses. Ideally looking for part livery where I will do weekends and someone can muck out feed etc mon-fri. use of a school would be necessary and hacking and winter stabling. I am happy to travel within reason. Does anyone have any recommendations?

How far are you willing to travel? there are some lovely yards with great hacking just outside of London, in the Bromley area - try looking at frogpool manor classifieds. Good luck!

I live in Southwark and it definately isn't east london

One thing I will say is that of all the plce I have ever lived in London - Southwark is the most rubbish for being near any stables... is a mission to even get anywhere for an evening lesson.

But if you move somewhere like Bexley you will be ok

Feel free to PM for any more info on the area

Have also just thought... even though Southwark is SE london... if you atually lived somewhere out near Epping there are livery yards that way too

But - Is probably not as easy to get to southwark from there.. What train station would you need to get to for the job?

If is Waterloo - then you could live SW London... or if is London Bridge then towards kent is good

- I have a little book that I can look stations up in and find good commuter places to live
