I am looking to move my laminitic cob from our current yard. Where we are at the moment is great, the farmer is fantastic about the laminitic mob he has on livery, even stretching to buying in old hay for us! My problem is when I first went there three years ago there were 5 horses and owners so we had a box each and loads of room. Now there are 22 of us and at the weekends it's a loosing battle to get into the yard to get tacked up, quite frankly it is becoming a joke. There is too much tale telling and bitching going on.

i just want to be somewhere on DIY where I have a box, suitable grazing, enough room for tack and rugs and hopefully a knowlwdgeable proprietor who can be trusted with my pony in my absence.

I know on a few nearby but they are on busy main roads that I am not keen on.
It surely cant be that hard to find some where? I don't really even need an arena just decent hacking.

I dont know of any in the Rowlands Gill area, but I know there's a nice one at Whittonstall which was advertising in the Journal a couple of weeks ago. And I think they have a website but cant for the life of me remember its name. I can try and find out if you like! Know of a few round the south northumberland area too!!!

Thanks for replying. I have been to a yard near my house today it sems nice and professional, i work part time at a lovely yard in tynedale I just cant afford to keep him there. The downfall we have is his friend has to come too, as I share the care side of things with his owner as it works brilliantly for us. I am going to a farm nearby at the weekend who has alot of their own retired horses still there so will try my luck with them.
So fingers crossed.
