Livery yards near Chertsey/ Chobham/ Surrey

Hi All,

I am currently having to move to Surrey due to my job. My boyfriend already lives in Chertsey but is happy to move around Surrey.

I am looking for a DIY/ assisted DIY yard however I am struggling to find one with the below:

- All year turnout, with 24/7 in summer, seperate mares and geldings
- Floodlight school
- Good hacking

The most important thing for me is all year turnout.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You could try the Claygate / Chessington Area. One more junction around the M25. There are 6 yards immediately around here and all offer year round turn out. 4 more if you go toward Weybridge, 3 or 4 more if you go toward Leatherhead. We're a bit yard rich here!

We've got a floodlit school, hacking, seperate turnout etc. But we've also got a waiting list! The trick will be finding somewhere you like that also has spaces. Some yards have a high turnover and a lot of movement. Some have a very faithful bunch with very few vacancies.

Thanks Shay. I am working down there this week so I may go for a drive around to scout some places out.

I am also going to look in Chobham rider as I thought they may have something in there.
