Hello i will be moving up to Dundee and am looking for a Livery Yard with an arena and good hacking. Hacking is essential as I like to go out for hours and picnics etc. Any clues???
Livery yards near Dundee. Any ideas

There are a fair few in the area.
Balmydown is just at the bottom of the Sidlaw hills and reportedly has great hacking and I know some very lovely liveries on the yard.
Murroes, great yard, great facilites and all weather outdoor arena, but hacking is mainly local roads, some off road tracks but haven't really explored myself.
Birkhill stables is just across the water near St. Fort, I'm told has brilliant hacking.
Inchoonans, several arenas to choose from inc indoor, hacking should be ok, they have a fair amount of farmland surrounding them.
There is also one in Longforgan, can't for the life of me remember the name of the folk who run it though.
