Livery yards near southampton

Hi,

i have just moved down to the southampton area, and i am looking for a good Livery yard that does part or assisted DIY Livery. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

I dont have any knowledge of the area but check out the "New Forest Equine Directory" NFED. They have lists of livery yards and all other services in the area.

Which are near Southampton? It is pretty wide and there are a lot of livery yards

What sort of facilities etc are important to you?

My daughter is on a lovely yard down there, I am unable to contact her just now, but I know the YO is a lady called Max and the yard backs onto the new forest and is 5 mins from the village of Marchwood. I could get the number for you but not till after 8pm

Depends what area of Southampton and facilities you are after.

There are a fair amount of large livery yards or combined livery and riding schools in the area however I would not recommend any of them.

I grew up in the area and so had friends in places/I liveried at some.

I recommend NFED livery section however the larger places do not tend to advertise on there.

Thanks, we live near the centre of Southampton so a 10 mile radius around there would be ideal.This would inlude Romsey, Botley, West End, Chilworth, eastern edge of the New Forest (and lots of other areas I'm sure!). May be able to go slightly further for a very good yard.
