As everyone keeps asking and I keep saying....GOOD LUCK! :D Everything is full to the brim, you wont get anything tbh unless youre willing to keep on full livery for £600+ a month? There are more horses than stable round here.

*wonders how I can open my own livery yard...*

As above, there are plenty of posts on this little bit of the forum with yards in this area.

Have a look on www.*******.co.uk

But most of the good yards and full up and have waiting lists.

Thanks for your help both of you :)

I will look on that website. If you know of any stable/field set ups, or just fields, then I would be interested in them also if yards are mainly full up. It's unclear at the moment as to whether or not my horse will respond to his current treatment or need retirement (he's 17), so school/menage facilities etc are not a priority :)

I'm toying with the idea of setting up a livery yard in the areas listed in the title/knowle/soilhull.

I would be offering a part and/or full livery service, no DIY. Facilities would include indoor stables, outdoor menage, showjumps and cross country fences.

Is there much interest for a new yard in this area?
What services are in demand e.g. full or part livery?
What do people feel is the going rate?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, everything is just in the planning stage atm but I do have my eye on a couple of yards so it can easily become reality if it's viable/the demand is there!

Thanks guys xx

I think the demand is there. Many of the yards local to me (Knowle/Dorridge/Lapworth area) are full and/or have waiting lists. Cross country fences are a bonus too. :)
