Does anybody know of any livery yards within about 10 miles of Worsley? I'm DIY but might need the odd hand turning out once a month or so. Ideally the yard would have:
- good winter turnout as my horse has COPD so can't be stabled for days at a time
- arena to school in (don't mind outdoor but needs to be a good size and doesn't flood)
- preferably not a riding school as I have had difficulties trying to use facilities to find it clashes with riding school activities
- safe hacking (don't mind a few roads)
- ragwort free fields and safe fencing
- preferably be able to use own bedding but not essential if there is good turnout
I already know of:
- Harrisons in Boothtown
- New Hill Farm, Walkden way
- Yard at Aristocats, also Walkden way
- MEC, Urmston
- Yard behind MEC
- North Cheshire
- Carrington Riding centre
- Ashton Hall
- Ryders Farm, Farnworth
but for one reason or another these are not suitable for what we are looking for. I know I may be asking the impossible but would be very grateful if anybody does know of such a yard that has all this?! I just need to be sure that I have the best place for both my horse and me.
