Livery yards Northampton/towcester

Hi there,

My boyfriend and I are looking to relocate to towcester/Northampton, was wondering if anyone could recommend any good liveries, preferably those with year round turn out?

Also any help on horsey shops/feed stores would be great ad I don't know the area at all!

I also heard there is a great vets in towcester?

Blue Barns at Hardingstone, Northampton (also known as Collins Pet Foods or Stores) has a huge amount of yards advertised normally. I don't know yards Towcester way but I bet they would have some on their boards. If you phone them and explain where you are currently hopefully they will give you some contact details over the phone, they always seem to be really helpful.

Another site to have a look at is www.wellandvalleyfeeds.co.uk. They sometimes have people advertising yards in Northants on there.

Tower Farm Saddlers in Earls Barton and Rugby also have a lot of information about yards.

Tunnel Hill Farm in Blisworth is great with year round turnout - i think they have a couple of outdoor schools and a horse walker now. The best person to speak to would be Kate or Sarah Lee 01604 858041. It is not the smartest of yards, but very friendly with great hacking and turnout.
