Livery yards Solihull, Kenilworth, Marston Green for next year?

I live in Kenilworth and mostly work in Central Solihull/Marston Green (north of Birmingham airport) and want to start looking at livery yards. I'd need at least part livery, probably full as I think I should avoid mucking out with asthma and won't be able to get there in the morning. Must have nice mostly off road hacking. Budget up to £500 a month, but would prefer nearer £350. Any suggestions? I was going out to see CMC equines this week as they are ideally located half way between home and work, but top end if price range.

Wouldn't be buying until early next year but I know good places have waiting lists.

How about Finwood Barn in Rowington or Swallowfields in Lapworth ? Both got good facilities but I seem to remember the winter turnout more limited at Swallowfields.

Thank you. Finwood Barn looks interesting, I think Swallowfield might be out of price range, but I should probably enquire before I assume.

IIRC, you won't get any package at Swallowfield for under £500. I think they start between £500-600.

Claire Mc is very good and her place is well-run and pretty smart. Don't know Finwood very well personally but should be a good bet for you. How big and how far away are you looking to go?

Thanks all.

I don't really know how big a yard I want - I just want somewhere where a horse will be well cared for with people who will spot problems quickly.

Would like horse turned out daily and indoor school/cross country a bonus. Must have good, mostly off road hacking.

Preferably 20 minutes/10 miles from Solihull, Marston Green, Kenilworth but would go to 30m/15 miles. Shower for me would be nice as I could go before work and take work clothes with me.

Going to see CMC tonight and will see if I can arrange some of the others later this week.

My this is nerve wracking. Think I've been reading too many bad experience posts and thinking back to my experiences with truly horrible people as a teenager and I've realized that the people are more important than the yard and you can't control that.

That said, they have all seemed very nice at places I've seen so far.

I was also going to suggest cmc ... I went there last year to look around as I got a new job so thought I would need to put ned on full livery (luckily I didn't), If i could of afforded it I would of certainly moved there. Facilities were really good and one of the main things was that with so many staff around who know what they're doing always puts your mind at ease!
Good luck in your search :)
