Hi all,

I am thinking of moving my horse to a yard with slightly better facilities within 20 - 30 minutes of Ascot. I love dressage (watch hours of it) and am aiming to compete my horse at a later date so want a yard with good facilities, horse walker, hacking a must, year round turnout, preferably dressage size arena and maybe one which possibly holds clinics but not imperative. Possibly the yard owner has competed to a high level in the sport or if not doesnt mind trainers coming onto the yard. Would consider private yard of a dressage rider / trainer. Have around £750 per month to spend and would like to be around like minded, inspiring individuals and in a yard with a pleasant atmosphere. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts.

The only 'pure' dressage I can think of is Oldencraig which would tick all your boxes but is near Lingfield? Might be worth googling though! Owlbrook competition yard in Ripely doesnt have a walker (Bev doesn't like them) but does have a fantastic new 60 x 30 school with mirrors, and visiting trainers. Bev and a few of her liveries are dressage focused as well. Interesting to see what your search throws up!

Oldencraig is a fab dressage yard, and every horse gets as much attention as the next horse. They have a great team at Oldencraig and your horse would want for nothing. Oldencraig may be on the market but has not sold yet... Parwood is also a lovely yard with a great team of staff, and good clinic's. I know what my choice would be :)

So as we are also moving house, for multiple reasons we have decided on the South Buckinghamshire area so keen to explore yards up there. Has anyone any experience of Sacha Hamilton, yard and training wise? Thanks all.
