Livery yards...there's always one *edited*

Isn't there just one livery yard in existance that doesn't have have "that one client" that demands their own way and ruin it for everyone else

Difficult to comment when we don't know whats going on, but speak to the yard owner maybe she doesn't realize how much it is upsetting you.

I can honestly say...hand on heart.... our yard does NOT have that one!!!
Incredibly pleased to say the person has not yet discovered the family unit that exists in our hidden away secret land!

To be honest, I don't they'd get a space or last amongst the sense of humour!!

I'm pretty lucky at our yard - there are a few that have their opinions but they just get ignored.

Unfortunatley horses do tend to bring out the bitchiness in people!

If one client always gets their own way then surely that is down to the YO being weak. If you speak to the YO and she/he is that weak, surely a number of you together can change the balance? We have a couple of 'characters' on the yard and we accept them for their ways - dont think other yard would, but if you know where they are coming from you can deal with them. I try to look on the positive and try to draw the good in people. Maybe they have a chip on their shoulder or having a hard time, or more to the point, find it difficult to communicate?

Currently our yard is a happy friendly place, but we have 2 stables free... Those stables in the time that I've been there have always been occupied by the "troublemakers" horses. Please please this time let them go to someone as nice as the rest of us are LOL

The yard i keep mine on is fab aswell. Everyone gets on really really well and there is never any cattiness!!

There are a few who don't get involved with the social side but there is never any problems!

we have 'a one' unfortunately, and all sorts of problems have arised due to 'the one'. its not great, and yes moving has been discussed, which seems a shame, but most of us cant stand it, the YO seems to do nothing

We are really fortunate at ours. Everyone gets on really well. That 'one' person left nad the yard has become great again.

We're pretty lucky at our yard, mind you there is only Liri_lou, Bellaboo, myself and YO at the yard

I could not move from small yards now, I like the fact that we only have 7 and a half horses. We don't have to fight over using the school
